Walnuts: They’re good for Your Heart, Skin and More!

Walnuts are perfect for skin care, as they have omega-3 fatty acids that help keep nutrients and moisture in the skin, giving it an extra glow.  And, protection against harmful UV rays and reduction in skin inflammation can be provided by the healthy fat of walnuts. This delicious snack also contains vitamin E, which is known to speed healing.

  • Lungs– Gamma tocopherol, a type of vitamin E that is found in walnuts, has been found to provide a significant amount of protection from lung cancer.
